Romania National Day
The beneficiaries of the “Quality and Inclusion through Education” project celebrated in all the partner educational units, the biggest national holiday: Romania’s Day!
They learned about the meaning of the tricolor, about the National Anthem and especially about the importance of freedom.
“Together with the beneficiaries of our Project and the remedial education teacher, we discussed the historical events related to Union Day. It represents the National Day of Romania, established as a national holiday following the General Assembly in Alba Iulia in 1918. From the discussions with the students, I learned that we have many reasons to love the country, we shared together the things and people that make us proud to be Romanians. I also watched a film about the legend of the tricolor, made a visual analysis of our country’s coat of arms and solved a puzzle on this topic.” psychologist Gianina Eibenschutz told us.
