Good emotions, bad emotions
Welcome back from Bodești Secondary School!
At the beginning of the week, our 6th grade beneficiaries discussed emotions: functional and dysfunctional.
“Functional emotions are those that help us, inform us about events in the external and internal environment, clarify and guide us in understanding personal needs and motivations. Dysfunctional emotions are those that block our correct perception of the environment, that have a negative effect on our behavior, that prompt us to make wrong decisions. Correctly recognizing emotions helps us make decisions. Thus, we did practical exercises to be able to correctly identify our felt emotion and to be able to manage it effectively.” says Mrs. Gianina Eibenschutz, psychologist.
