Development through reading

The International Day of Reading Together was also celebrated by the beneficiaries of our project from the Secondary School in Sagna commune.

Here is what remedial education teacher Elena Raluca Ciobanu told us: “The benefits of reading aloud are very important, helping children:

• to express themselves more easily, developing their speech, helping them in their further development at an emotional, mental and cognitive level;

• to acquire some linguistic skills (phrases and words);

• to develop the ability to memorize and pay attention;

• to enrich their imagination, creativity and curiosity.”
