Another interesting activity took place at the “Daniela Cuciuc” Secondary School in Piatra Neamț: “Correct identification of learning difficulties”.

Our specialists know that students with learning disabilities have problems with achievement and academic progress. Some children develop and mature more slowly than others of the same age.

Learning disabilities typically affect five domains: speech, writing, arithmetic, cognition, and memory.

“We worked with the beneficiaries of our Project for the development of attention and memory. I used a set containing 40 short poems and multiple exercises that aroused the children’s interest, thus facilitating concentration and assimilation of information. Attention and memory work closely together, together playing an essential role in the learning process!” Psychologist Gianina Eibenschutz.
